Auth
- Authenticates with Discord (official OAuth on discord.com) to create and link your Nebula profile. Then it become saved on launcher.
- Create random keys for AntiCheat, so server can identify that player exists.
Launcher
- Does not take nothing about your PC.
- Does not capture or reuse your Discord token.
- Does not install adware, miners, hidden services, or unusual scheduled tasks. You can see on launcher requests that all links used to download all stuffs of Nebula is public, you can download that and see if it contains malwares.
- Does not modify your system or registry beyond what is required to run the game.
- Mainly avoids any action that can be identified as malware.
Privacy and data
- We store the minimum: your Discord ID, name, avatar, and in-game data such as cosmetics, levels, and currency.
- We do not collect browser history, personal files, passwords, 2FA codes, or banking information.
- No background processes are kept running besides the launcher and the game while you use them.
N-Security
- Takes your IP, but keep calm, it become encrypted in database for player secure.
- Create hashes basing your PC serials (your PC serials don't become for database, only hashes), so if a player has been banned he cant come back.
- All "token" stuff you see on server side is a random pass for player login and play, its not your Discord Token. It's needed by anticheat.
File transparency
Every official download is served over HTTPS. You can verify the file integrity using SHA-256:

Compare the result with the hash published in our Discord announcements. You can also upload the file to VirusTotal if you want an additional check.
How to verify authenticity
- Download the launcher only from official Nebula links.
- Check the SHA-256 hash matches the value we publish.
- Optionally scan on VirusTotal.
- When logging in, confirm the browser redirects to discord.com with OAuth. The login happens on Discord, not inside the launcher.

“Private servers are always malware.”

Nebula is a community project. The launcher contains no adware, miners, or extra installers.

“It will steal my Epic account.”
Fact
We never ask for Epic credentials. Login is only via Discord OAuth.

“It keeps running hidden after install.”
Fact
The launcher runs only when you open it. No persistent services or unusual tasks are created. You can check that by yourself.
